Dr J Grieve
Jacob Grieve - BDS FRACDS

After graduating with distinction from Otago University in 2002, Jacob gained valuable surgical experience as a Dental House Surgeon. This was consolidated further when he worked in a surgical team in Manchester, England.

Jacob is passionate about all areas of general dentistry but fosters a special interest in cosmetics, treatment of anxious people and wisdom teeth removal.

Jacob was admitted as a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS) and received the New Zealand Dental Association (NZDA) Outstanding Young Dentist Award in 2009. He is an active member in the Otago branch of the NZDA, RACDS, the New Zealand Society of Sedation in Dentistry and the New Zealand Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Jacob is the host of the New Zealand Dental Podcast, on iTunes and Castbox.

When not in the office, Jacob enjoys cycling both on and off road.. He also enjoys attending Equippers church and spending time with his wife Justine, their three children and one cat.

Dr Rex Moore
Rex J Moore - BDS, Dip. Clin. Dent. Periodontics

Rex graduated BDS from Otago University Dental School in 1972, after which he travelled and worked in Australian dental practices in New South Wales, Queensland and Northern Territories, then in England. On returning to New Zealand Rex continued in his practice in Dunedin and undertook a post-graduate diploma in periodontics (gum disease and associated surgery) in 1992 – 1993.

He has been secretary/treasurer for the Otago branch of the New Zealand Dental Association for three years, and will be president in 2010. Rex enjoys general dentistry and has a special interest in gum problems, as well as cosmetic dentistry and all aspects of dentures.

In his spare time Rex enjoys sailing, skiing, and keeps current with his small plane pilot’s licence. He and Jenny are keen voyagers and his three children share his love of travel and are scattered around the world.

Byron Park
Byron Park - BDS

Byron completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Otago. Since then he has become an active member of the New Zealand Dental Association, including the Otago branch. He is proficient in all aspects of dentistry and has a special interest in prosthodontics (the area of dentistry that focuses on crowns, bridges and dentures).

Byron travelled to Cambodia in 2013 to contribute voluntary dental work with the One2One Charitable Trust organisation. The dental team set up a temporary clinic in a rural village classroom and provided modern dental treatment to the local people. He also participated in the Seal Cambodia project, placing preventative fissure sealants in the molar teeth of young children.

Outside of dentistry Byron enjoys stone carving, creating sculptures with Oamaru stone. He is involved in the local university community, operating sound and lighting equipment for cultural nights and revues including the Capping Show.

Sue Bainbridge
Sue Bainbridge - Dental Hygienist

Sue trained as a dental hygienist in the Armed Forces (UK) in 1981, and during her 16 years service gained valuable experience in the Oral Surgery Department, Orthodontic department and working in General Dentistry. She has also trained as a Practice Manager and has experience as a Dental Hygiene Tutor. Sue also taught the Dental Nurse course for 7 years at Worthing College of Further Education (UK) and gained her certificate in Teaching.

When not preventing gum disease, Sue also enjoys reading, walking the dogs, sewing and crafting.
